Autumn Online: Building a garden

The work in the garden at SHP in Camden started in January 2012, and we don’t know when it is going to finish. But hopefully things will move quickly and we will have our garden ready for use by the end of the summer. Everyone works on the garden from time to time, but actually some of the people have more skills than others and they help more.
When the garden is finished, we will plant our own things, our own food, for example up to now we had strawberries, lettuces and blackberries. In the future we hope to have a working garden.

When before there was just wild grass soon there will be a big space that everybody will use, people will hang around there and plant bushes and trees.

We are all looking forward to see what benefits the garden will provide for us.

I am sure it is going to be an active garden and it is going to be used massively. For the amount of money and stuff they put in, it should be!

I planted pumpkins in the past and I’m hoping to plant more seeds, grass and vegetables.
