I would like this blog-site to become renowned for giving a fresh alternative view because it deals with issues that are often either ignored or looked at without sufficient depth. Hopefully, giving this alternative voice will help to promote change in areas where it is most needed.
Typically, mainstream media outlets tend to preach to the converted and as such, change is slow to happen because they are pandering to what their readers want to read, rather than what they ought to read.
Also by offering first-hand experience, I believe the blog will prove useful and will provide informative posts for younger people facing similar problems, by offering an insight into issues that are, by and large, stigmatised in the media.
