Arts and Culture, and the General Election

After having discussed different topics around politics and the election I/we decided to put together some questions to ask members of the public about arts and culture.

We wanted to know if people engaged in arts and culture in their local community, if arts and culture had an impact in whom they would vote for in the election and what their main interests were when deciding who to vote for.

After putting together our questions we headed towards Upper Street, camera in hand ready to find some candidates/victims.

We introduced ourselves, explaining that we were doing a community journalism project for a charity and that we would like to ask three short questions concerning the election and if they would mind being film and the film being used for a blog.

Understandably some declined but here are those that kindly agreed.
